Flashing Lights version 3.0

According to Yeezy via kanye universecity:

I shot 3 vids for flashing lights cuz I ain't like the first 2. I loved the 3rd one that I released with Spike and hit the world with that. I actually had Sam Speigal , Spike's brother and co-orchestrater of THE TOUR MUSIC, do a remix 2 the scary one 2 make the music fit. I planned 2 put it on a DVD later this year. No rant's here just an explanation of why yall getting those other vids rt now that I ain't approve and why I ain't finna post neither on my blog. So I hope whoever leaked them got the shine they was looking 4 cause that's all they'll get now. And I know that's incorrect english but that's how I talk when I want 2. Oh and I've just been 2 busy 2 get at the New York Times for all that his Ego BLAH BLAH BLAH bullshit so stay tuned. For fun, I want yall 2 read this whole post in the Grandma's Boy JP robot voice LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although I wish I could claim the "shine" for this video's leakage, I'm not the guy. But that doesn't mean I can't post the video. So here you go, enjoy!

Budden is back

My man Joey finally stated that the new album is releasing. You can expect "Padded Room" to deliver plenty of heat, catering to both his party and lyrical fans. This is something no hip-hop head should sleep on. Watch the video to get the full info. Jersey, stand up !!!

Alife Rivington Club x Lacoste

What do you get when some of your favorite clothing brands do collaborations? Some dope kicks and REALLY nice rugby's. You can expect these to drop sometime in July at the Alife Rivington Club, Barney's NYC, Colette, Dover Street Market and Dieci Corso Como.

Common and Pharrell- Universal Mind Control

Lonnie Rashid aka Common Sense is definitely one of hip-hops finest. Although many people know him as the Afrocentric, non-matching, driver cap wearing rapper, he is also known for his heavy hitting metaphors and complex rhyme patterns. Many people have had mixed feelings about "Finding Forever," but with this new single out, there should be no doubtful feelings about the new album.

Let the Countdown Begin...

Tomorrow is definitely a good day for Jordan fans out there. With one of the most highly anticipated packages releasing, you can expect tomorrow to be a hectic morning for many collectors. Don't sleep on these or you will definitely regret it. Big ups to kixandthecity for the pics. I'll recap some shit tomorrow to let you know how things go in the morning. Good luck people!

Huarache x Air Classic BW

No word yet on what stores these are at, but they've just dropped. Unfortunately, these hybrids are only available in the US. If you can't find anywhere to cop, you can always hit up fuctard. Thank you Nike for giving me another reason to drop money on you this summer.

Wal-Mart says No to Nas

Due to sales expectations, Nas' upcoming album will not be called N****r anymore. At least that's what we're suppose to believe. As for the title, it is currently unknown. Apparently Def Jam's Group Chairman, L.A. Reid, convinced Nas to change the title because Wal-Mart would refuse to carry the album. God forbid Wal-Mart would refuse to carry a Nas album, since we all know he makes so much money selling edited CD's at the store. Oh well, at least Nas will now be able to sleep at night knowing that he has Al Sharpton's approval. Either way, Nas is Nas. The album could be called Chink, and I'd still buy it. Put the album out already, damn it!

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

I know I'm a couple weeks late on this but I just saw the flick last night.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better than Superbad, came Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I know plenty of people probably wouldn't agree with me on this, but I thought this movie was great. There was always something to laugh at at least every 2 minutes. And not only was it funny, but Kristen bell aka Veronica Mars and Mila Kunis from That 70s Show look hot as hell! If you haven't checked this flick out yet, I suggest you do.

The Monthly Fit

Naked chicks are quickly becoming a favorite design amongst the streetwear crowd. Along with Premium Label's Kate Moss x Kanye tee, this is one of my favorites. You can never go wrong w/ Pamela, courtesy of streetwear brand Dissizit.

The sun is coming out and the days are getting brighter. These Stussy "Artie" sunglasses got my pick for the shades of the month.

Unless you like sweat stains, time to put away those fitteds. Nobody likes to have forehead juice all over their caps that they just spent last week's paycheck on. But that doesn't necessarily mean you can't rock a hat when the sun is scourging hot. This Acapulco Gold 5 panel is perfect for the summer.

No fit is correct without "a fresh pair of steps." After waiting 17 years for these shoes to finally re-release, it's only right that the Carmines are at the top of May's kick list. Well, at least if your a Jordan fan like I am.

She on that coke diet..

With N.E.R.D's third album releasing soon, "Seeing Sounds," it only seems right that they promote the CD with "Everyone Nose." Who doesn't like a song about coked up club bitches? However, if my prayers are answered maybe CRS will make a video for the remix. Till then, I guess I'll just have to settle for the original.

The Pacemaker

Tired of hearing the same whack songs at parties? Well, with this gadget out you can now prevent that by doing your own mixes on the spot or by playing mixes that you've already made. It's basically an ipod on steroids. However, with every nice toy comes a nice little price tag. You get what you pay for.

Wasabi Seafood Stuffed Flounder

This is probably the best recipe I've made up so far. It has a nice little spicy kick to it in the center. A must for any seafood lover (no pun intended). Plus, its fairly easy.

Photobucket

Stuffed flounder
- 6 flounder fillets
- 6 asparagus spears
- ½ lb cooked crab meat
- ½ lb bay scallops
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 tbs. butter
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup white wine

Wasabi Cream Sauce

- 3 tsp. wasabi powder
- 1 tbs. rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbs. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tbs. fresh cilantro
- 1/3 cup light mayonnaise

Directions:
1. Pour the white wine, ½ cup soy sauce, and butter into the pan and mix until reduced to about 1 cup of liquid. Next sauté the onions, crab, meat, and scallops in the pan. Mix until liquid is almost completely gone. Add salt and pepper to taste.
2. In a separate large bowl, mix the wasabi powder with the rice wine vinegar and 1 tbs. soy sauce. Then add the light mayo. Stir until ingredients are well mixed and then add the lemon juice. Continue to stir until a smooth cream is made.
3. Make sure the seafood mixture is almost completely free from excess liquid. Then, add seafood to the bowl with the wasabi cream and mix until all of the seafood is coated with cream.
4. Take a generous amount of the seafood mixture and stuff the flounder fillets and also place asparagus spears in the center of the stuffing. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until flounder is cooked.

Soy Ginger Glaze
- 3 tbs. hoisin sauce
- 1 tbs. rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbs. soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. chopped garlic
- 1 tsp. chopped ginger root

Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together. If needed, use a blender to make a smooth glaze with no solid particles.
2. After blended together, heat in a sauce pan for about 10 minutes and then put the mixture in the refrigerator till it's cooled off.
2. When the flounder is finished cooking, lightly glaze the flounders with the soy ginger mixture.

Go Glow!

So after weeks of waiting, the Glow in the Dark tour finally hit my city. Let me tell you, this is one concert that you definitely don't wanna sleep on. I almost didn't go, but after scouting for tickets on ebay I came across floor seats for only $77. Oh and let me also add that this was 2 nights before the event. ** HINT HINT* ** Anyways, I'm not gonna spoil the concert for those of you who haven't been to it yet but heres some tips. If you've got the gwap, definitely cop the closest seats that your cheap ass can afford. Its worth every penny. Also, you might want to check out ticketmaster.com a couple hours before the event for any time changes. I almost didn't see Lupe perform because my venue decided to have the event one hour earlier than the original time. Finally, be there at least 20 minutes early! I'm sure nobody likes long lines plus, Lupe is the first act and if you miss his performance then you just wasted half of your money. Anyways, hope this is enough to convince you to go. But just in case it isn't, here's a couple videos to help change your mind...

Lupe Fiasco, FNF UP !!
