Hip-Hop Takes Over Glastonbury
Hov, one of the greatest to do it, killed it in the UK. Despite all the hatred, Jay-z was able to make Glastonbury's first hip-hop headliner a memorable one. Please take your hats of to this man...
After seeing Lupe in person at the Glow in the Dark Tour in Tampa, pure energy is all I expect from the rest of performances and pure energy is all he delivered here in the UK. This Chi-Town rapper is definitely hip-hop's greatest blessing within the past couple of years.

Don't Go Chaaaaasin' Waterfalls

This new installment will definitely be a love/hate thing for many New Yorkers. Over the summer, a couple of 120-foot waterfalls will be placed under the Brooklyn Bridge and into the East River. These pictures were taken by photographer Vincent Laforet but I'll be up north in July so I'll hit you guys up with more of my own pics later on.

Here I Stand

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking. Although this albums already been out for a little while, today is the first chance I've gotten to listen to the whole thing. After hearing the first single, "Love in this Club," I expected this album to be very mediocre. I thought this album was going to be drowned with electronic voices and corny hooks, like most of today's R&B. Well, looks like I'm wrong. Just about every song on this album is dope. There's a couple songs that I'm not a big fan of but in my opinion, "Love in this Club" is actually the worst track. Anyways, my favorites are "Something Special," "Best Thing," and "His Mistakes." I highly suggest you go and cop the album. If you're to cheap at least download. Its worth the listen.

"Always forward I'm moving..."

After seeing this, I'm sure plenty of people will have many negative things to say about the veteran MC. However, according to Nas "It’s always forward I’m moving never backwards, stupid here’s another classic." Although this Kanye-esque style might not fit the illmatic Nas we're all used to seeing, you can't knock the man for trying something new. It actually looks pretty dope. I mean, it's not like he's going to be dressing like this for the rest of his life. Nas is still the illest MC alive, no matter how he decides to rock his shit.

Kid Robot Summer 08

Bright colors and playful designs, Kid Robot is the perfect brand to rock over the summer. This is just a couple of dope pieces they've recently dropped. Hit up the site to check out the rest of their shit. It's a bit pricey but if you want limited gear, the butter has gotta be right.
Nas- Be a N***er too
Although the title of Nas' upcoming album has changed, its purpose still remains strong. This video takes you into a journey throughout the days of slavery and modern racism. Its production is very similar to a specific scene in Spike Lee's "25th Hour," where Edward Norton also attempts to outline the racism that goes on in society today. The vivid imagery of this video makes the message of this song even more powerful than it already is. Mad props to Nas for releasing the video, fuck what the critics gotta say about it.
